Donations / Membership

Northstar Problem Gambling Alliance is a private, nonprofit (501c3) membership organization, and membership fees provide a portion of the funding used by Northstar to provide educational services.

In addition, we receive a grant from the State of Minnesota, and have corporate sponsorships on an annual basis or for specific events, activities and programs.

Anyone can become a member of the Northstar Alliance. All that is needed is an interest in helping to educate Minnesotans that problem gambling is an addictive issue, that it is treatable, and that treatment works. Our goal is to reduce the stigma associated with problem gambling and improve the awareness and access to care across the state. The Northstar Problem Gambling Alliance is the Minnesota affiliate to the National Council on Problem Gambling. Please join us!

Your membership or contribution is doubly important because it will be matched by funds from the state of Minnesota.

Annual Individual Memberships

Professional member: $35
(Includes $15 discount to attend the annual Minnesota Conference on Problem Gambling)

Community member: $25
(Includes $10 discount to attend the annual Minnesota Conference on Problem Gambling)

Student member: $15
(Includes $5 discount to attend the annual Minnesota Conference on Problem Gambling)
